Public Research Polls

INTRODUCTION

Each year CDFAI commissions the Innovative Research Group to conduct polls in order to gauge the Canadian public’s response to important issues in Canadian defence and foreign affairs. Greg Lyle from the Innovative Research Group conducts an annual poll based around the Annual Ottawa Conference topic as well as number of polls that CDFAI commissions as part of its Issue Response series.

These polls have appeared regularly in The Ottawa Citizen and The Globe & Mail along with op-eds written by CDFAI Fellows. These polls assist the defence and foreign affairs community in understanding Canadian’s opinions on important issues and help bring attention to and awareness of these issues.
