Public Research Polls

INTRODUCTION

In previous years CDFAI commissoned the Innovative Research Group to conduct polls in order to gauge the the Canadian public’s response to important issues in Canadian defence and foreign affairs. Several polls were also commissioned based on the Annual Ottawa Conference topics and as part of the Issue Response series.

These polls appeared in The Ottawa Citizen and The Globe & Mail along with op-eds written by CDFAI Fellows. They assisted the defence and foreign affairs community in understanding Canadian opinions on important issues and also helped increase the public’s awareness of these issues.
