Ignorance. Or confusion. From an Ottawa Citizen editorial, November 13:
…there’s another [US] tax reform that wouldn’t require increases in income tax rates: the implementation of a carbon tax.
The conservative Washington Post editorialized in wholehearted favour of the idea on Nov. 10 [text here]…
The WaPo “conservative”? Only from a certain Canadian angle. Ask the people at Fox News what they think. Maybe the Citizen’s editorialists missed these two other very recent Post editorials:
Gun control at center of Tucson shooting case
Fix immigration now
Or maybe the good people at the Citizen actually had the Washington Times in mind.
